Flight Training
Journeys Aviation™ is the premier facility in the Denver/Boulder area for professional-grade flight instruction, aircraft rentals and associated ground services for the accomplished pilot.
Our career flight instructors, many with several thousands of hours of dual instruction, set us far apart from the other flight schools. Unlike schools that use student teaching as a way to build time for their instructors, eager for the next airline job to open up, Journeys Aviation™ has the core professional training staff who have devoted lifelong careers to creating and improving the skills of pilots.
Based at the Boulder Municipal airport, Journeys Aviation provides flight training departing from an uncontrolled airfield. Some advantages of this include short taxi distances from the aircraft ramp to the runways and relatively short time from engine startup to takeoff. The result is less time on the ground, lower training costs and more flight time during a scheduled lesson period. For students looking to work on tower-controlled training, Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport is a short 10-mile flight directly south of Boulder Municipal airport. Our facility offers high speed free wifi and computing for flight planning, weather information, training, and study.
