Journeys has several powered aircraft in our fleet of training aircraft, but the basic trainer is the classic Cessna 172, the standard for flight training for more than 50 years

Journeys has also acquired two Pipistrel light sport aircraft. Both aircraft boast of incredible power-to-weight ratios, fuel efficient engines, and impressive glide ratios.
Both aircraft are equipped with a ballistic parachute recovery system.

Our Pipistrel Alpha Trainer is the most affordable new trainer on the Front Range, having been manufactured in 2023 and renting for $119 per tach hour.

Our Pipistrel Virus SW 100 iS has a Garmin G3X touch PFD/MFD, a Garmin GTN 650 GPS, and a GFC500 2-axis autopilot, making it the most affordable new TAA trainer on the Front Range, having been manufactured in 2023 and renting for $139 per tach hour.
