Chuck Brescia, Senior Flight Instructor - Chuck graduated from the University of Illinois in 1977, received a commission in the US Navy and went right into flight training. The picture at left is from 1978 during multi-engine training in the T-44 King Air. Believe it or not in 1978 Officers in the Navy were allowed to have beards! After a tour in P-3 Orions at Moffett Field, CA and a tour as a flight instructor in the T-34C Turbo-Mentor at Whiting Field FL, Chuck left the active Navy. In 1986, Chuck joined a major airline, and flew the MD-80, DC-10, B-777, & B-757/767, retiring in 2013. After a few years in retirement, Chuck felt that there was still more he could contribute to aviation and really missed flying. So, after receiving his CFI he started training with a former lead for the Red Baron flight show team & former Chief Flight Instructor here at Journeys Aviation. Chuck has been at Journeys since 2018, and brings a wealth of experience from many years of flying and a wide variety of flight experience. Contact Chuck at [email protected]
