you to peruse our Aviation Library where
you’ll find various resource materials (including
videos) for all phases of flight.
Advanced Pilot Training
Already a pilot? For our seasoned
pilots, we offer the following advanced
training:
Complex Endorsement
If you are ready for an aircraft with
more performance think about adding a Complex
Endorsement to your logbook. See what
it is like to command an aircraft with retractable
landing gear and a constant speed prop.
Learn about managing aircraft with
more complex systems. Like how to control
power using manifold pressure. Using
the propeller control to manage propeller
RPM. See and feel the effects of retracting
the landing gear and learn about the operating
ranges of these systems.
High Performance Endorsement
A High Performance Endorsement in your
logbook will allow you to fly aircraft with
engines of 201 HP or more. More engine
monitoring is involved to keep temperature
in the normal range and Cowl flaps are usually
added in to the mix. Aircraft speeds are
up so things happen faster. At Journeys Aviation™ our Cessna Turbo 210 allows you
to experience a real high performance aircraft,
not just a few HP above the legal limit.
You can really feel the difference
doing your training in this class of airplane.
Glass Cockpit Training
Move into the next generation of general
aviation by training in the Garmin G1000.
You start by understanding this system
during ground training using the PC based
G1000 simulator. Then continue your training
by flying the VFR and IFR portions of our
G1000 training program. You will then
be ready to fly the G1000 on your next local
flight or your next cross-country trip.
Mountain Training
Flying in the mountains is both fun and
rewarding but also creates a new set of
aviation challenges. It opens up really
great destination airports and can save
hours flying around mountain ranges on a
cross–country trip. But mountain flying
in general aviation aircraft can be tricky
when the mountaintops approach the service
ceiling of the aircraft you are flying.
The answer? Take a mountain
flying training course at Journeys Aviation™
with on of our mountain flight instructors.
You will be given ground training
covering this new flight environment. Then
take this knowledge and put it into practice.
Jeffco Airport is the gateway to some
of the most spectacular mountain flying
and mountain airports in the country!
Instrument Prolificacy Check (IPC)
Has it been a year already? Let
our CFII’s get you back to proficiency and
be league again to fly in the IFR environment.
Then once you are current check out
Journeys Aviation™ Instrument Proficiency
Currency Program.
Instrument Proficiency Currency Program
(IPCP)
You worked hard for your instrument rating
and as we all know it’s hard to keep current
as the days and months fly by. Next
thing you know the regulation require an
IPC to regain your privileges. Journeys Aviation™
has a better idea! Join our
Instrument Proficiency Currency Program
(IPCP). One of our CFII’s will set
up a currency program for you to track your
IFR requirements and keep you not only legal
but, more importantly, SAFE.
IPCP will track your currency and help
you schedule monthly training sessions using
our flight simulators or training flights.
You will always be current and safe to fly
in the IFR environment. No more cramming
in all your approaches just to be legal.
By meeting a few of the requirements
each month you keep the edge on your IFR
skill set and will always remain current.
The best part is that this program
is FREE to all Journeys Aviation™ Standard
Members!
Journeys™ Flying Club

well!
