Foreign Pilot Training
Journeys Aviation™ provides foreign pilot training, professional flight
training to international students who
meet the requirements of the FAA and
TSA. At Journeys Aviation™ we provide full
time training to our international students
to advance their aviation career goals
in the shortest possible time frame.
Flight Training Visa
Journeys Aviation™ is approved to issue
a M-1 Visa, to students who enroll in approved
courses. To receive the flight training visa, students must be committed
to a full time flight-training program.
All students must meet the requirements
of 14 CFR 61. All applicants
must be 18 years of age and be able to read,
speak, write, and understand the English
Journeys Aviation™ is located near Class
D airspace and is bounded by Class B airspace
to the east. Some operations require
communication with ATC and all instrument
approaches, actual or simulated, require
communication with Denver Approach. This
airspace provides a realistic training environment
and requires good radio skills. All
students are encouraged to practice efficient
radio communication before beginning training.
Foreign Pilot Visa
To receive a foreign pilot visa International students must:
- Complete our application.
- Send copy of drivers license, pilot(s)
license and passport.
- Send copy of current F.A.A. medical and
last 2 pages of logbook.
- Send International VISA fee in the amount
- Show proof of coverage for health / accident
insurance while in the United States.
- Apply with the TSA for flight training
approval at https://www.flightschoolcandidates.gov/
- If you hold a license and/or rating not
issued by the Federal Aviation Administration
(FAA), we strongly recommend you have the
aviation authority of the country that issued
your license officially translate it into
English before coming here. Please let us
know as soon as possible if you have a non-FAA
license, and we will fax/e-mail you FAA
forms to convert your license before arrival.
