Located in Boulder, Colorado, Just outside Denver

Our primary training and maintenance facility is located in Boulder, a prosperous college town nestled between Denver and the Rocky Mountains. Journey Aviation's Boulder Municipal Airport (KBDU) facility provides rental, training, maintenance, and fueling services (both 100LL Avgas and Jet-A fuel).

The Denver Area

Denver is situated along the eastern slope of the Rocky Mountains at a temperate altitude and latitude.  The weather is VFR over 325 days per year and also provides opportunities for training in all four seasons.  This is the ideal training environment for developing capable safe pilots.  With the mountains to the west, we also have the opportunity to train in high altitude airport operations and mountainous terrain when desired.

Boulder Municipal Airport Location

Journeys Aviation Boulder is located at the east end of the ramp on Boulder Municipal Airport.  From Valmont Road, turn north on Airport Road, enter the airport with a subsequent left turn, then turn right at next opportunity.  Journeys Aviation is one block to the right in the Executive Terminal Building 3335 Airport Road.
