Prerequisites

All JAFA programs are targeted to individuals who are serious about pursuing their aviation career. Based on years of providing aviation training, Journeys has developed the following prerequisites which will ensure the highest opportunity for successful completion of JAFA programs.

• No prior flight experience or training is required
• Must be 18 years of age by the program start date
• English language proficiency

• Applicants for whom English is a second language must:

• Complete the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) examination as a demonstration of English proficiency.
• Meet ICAO level 4 English proficiency before the Private Pilot Practical Test

• No drug or alcohol abuse or dependency history

• No Criminal convictions
• A current Passport issued by your country of origin
• If you are not a US citizen:

• Approval from the United States Transportation Security Administration (TSA)
• A M-1 VISA
