Aircraft

The Diamond DA-20 C1 Eclipse is the primary single engine aircraft used for all Professional Pilot Programs at Journeys Aviation. This modern composite aircraft has outstanding flight characteristics with a sea level climb rate of 1,000 fpm, a cruise of 138 kts, and a take-off distance of only 1,600 feet over a 50-foot obstacle. The Eclipse is rapidly becoming the premier two place training aircraft used by the United States Air Force Academy and by professional flight training schools worldwide.

Multi-Engine training is conducted in the Piper Seminole PA44-180. Journeys Aviation relies upon the Seminole, as do leading universities and major commercial airlines, to train their multi-engine pilots. Its simplicity, stability and safety have made it the mainstay of training programs everywhere. With 168 knots maximum cruising speed, 15,000-foot service ceiling, the Seminole is the perfect multi-engine aircraft.
